Ridings gives hat to College Baseball Hall of Fame

Immediately after senior pitcher Matt Ridings won his 29th game of the season against Virginia Commonwealth last Friday, the College Baseball Hall of Fame came calling.

Ridings answered, and as a result, the hat he wore in the record-breaking win will be shipped off to Lubbock, Texas, and put on display in the Hall.

The hat will be displayed at the College Baseball Awards Show in July and other promotional events regarding college baseball, according to Western’s media relations department.
